EQUATORIAL & RURALS ADVENTURE 5 DAYS/4 NIGHTS

Day 1  :   Upon arrival by morning flight at Minangkabau International Airport of West Sumatra, you will be picked up by a Sumatra Equator representative and drive to Padang Tujuh village, on the way you will see the Palm Oil plantations, Beetle nut plantations, an export commodity of West Sumatra and the main ingredient of eastern candies, the “Kinali Equatorial”monument, lunch is served enroute. Arrive in the afternoon in   Padang Tujuh village check in to home stay. You are free to relax and enjoy.

Day 2  :   After breakfast, we drive to Bonjol Equatorial Monument via Panti Nature Reserve, on the way we stop to see the v and activities of local people. Proceed to Panti nature reserve where you will find the real tropical jungle and the hot spring. When you want to enjoy swimming on the hot spring we may stop here, after swimming we continue driving to Bonjol Equatorial Monument, lunch enroute. In the afternoon we drive back to Padang Tujuh via Kumpulan and Padang Sawah village, on this tour you will travel around mount Talamau which is well known as the highest volcano mountain in West Sumatera. In the late afternoon return to home stay. Dinner

Day 3  :   After breakfast, we visit traditional villages to see local’s production and villagers activities. On this day we will see the processing of patchouli oil, the liquid to make perfumes, processing of brown sugar which is originally taken from the palm tree, visit the rivers where we can find the “forbidden fish”, these sacred fish are maintained in the river from generation to generation and are not allowed to be caught or eaten. Legend says, anyone taking or eating these special fish will become ill and even die, lunch enroute. In the afternoon we drive back to the home stay, you are free to relax and enjoy.

Day 4  :   After breakfast, we transfer you back to Padang via Maninjau lake, this is a crater lake which is very popular in Sumatera, on the way we drive through 44 hairpin bends, terraces rice field, Anai valley nature reserve as well as Anai waterfall, lunch enroute, in the afternoon arrive in Padang and check in to Bumiminang Hotel, dinner and free program.

Day 5  :   Breakfast, then our representative will transfer you back to Minangkabau International Airport for your onward journey. Tour end
